About Me

Taina Patmore's expertise lies in the field of love, family, relationships and romance. Being number 12 in a family of 28 close knit first cousins has given her a political insight that could get her elected to Congress. Her incredible empathy, astute powers of observation in the follies of others, and uncanny ability to attract romantic disasters in her own life has led her to develop a fool proof method to approaching and dealing with the opposite sex which she will begin to share upon the launch of her blog at www.mateexpectations.com.

Stay tuned for her newest blog where Taina will share her anecdotes and general inexperience with all things pregnancy, parenting and womanhood.

Taina has been writing since she was old enough to wield a crayon and has a stockpile of journals she has kept since she was a child. At the age of 8 her father found a poem she'd written amongst his things and secretly published it in the monthly newsletter at work. Taina's talents, however, remain largely undiscovered despite her work as an op-ed columnist for her college paper, The Stall, and several selections published in the same school's literary art journal in 2003. Taina was also the recipient of the coveted Anthony Lovasco Shakespeare Award in 2007 as well as receiving honorable mention for the 2007 Women's Studies Paper competition.

Mrs. Patmore has been lucky enough to stumble across a man crazy enough to love her, and encourage her to follow her dreams. Of course she quickly snatched him up and married him on Thanksgiving of 2008. Her marriage came with the bonus of an amazing 7 year-old stepson who is the source of her sanity and an inspiration for her writing. Her family has become the muses who evoke within her the strength to redefine herself as the writer she has always been.
